Big blacksmith's knife with leather sheath, viking knife

This style of knife is known as Viking Blacksmith’s knife, it's a simple and practical knife

Knives are hand-forged by me,
The knife has a laminated construction (from 3 different bars), the edge is high carbon steel, the middle is wrought iron, back and the handle are mild steel. The blade is hardened and tempered, the handle is left unhardened.

Blade is etched so that lamination is visible. Everything is finished with beeswax coat to give them their distinctive black color and protections against water
The knife is sharp.

The sheath is made from vegetable tan leather, sewed and pinned together. Pins are iron and spacers are brass. Knife fits very tight in sheath
