Carving knife made from hand-forged high carbon steel blade, paper micarta spacer, and walnut wood handle.
The blade is decorated with nature-inspired plant engraving

The blade is filed and sanded, heat-treated (normalized, quenched, tempered twice)
Bevels on the blade are high flat ground (Scandi grind) V, meaning there is no second bevel.
In the end, the knife is hand-sharpened on the stone-like fixture, which allows me to go from low grid to high grind and then polishing compounds on leather. The result is a very flat and polished surface.

Wood is oiled with tung oil and buffed with beeswax

The knife is great for carving spoons, kuksas, bowls, and so on...
A knife is shaving sharp and mirror-polished.

It comes with a paper/leather sheath.

THE WOOD GRAIN MIGHT BE DIFFERENT FROM THAT IN THE PICTURES.

Very nice sloyd knife/puukko, great workmanship and quality feel. Also aesthetically pleasing piece. Since the Mora 106 is familiar to many, I base my review to a comparison. I have gone through about 10 spoons, couple of spatulas and butter knives prior doing this review. The blade has very similar profile to 106, the blade width is practically identical at base at 16mm. The blade is slightly thicker, but the grind is wider achieving the same grinding angle of slight over 13 degrees/side. The spine is nicely rounded, so finger assisted cuts are pleasant to do. The blade is stiffer (surprise since its thicker) than 106 (C), this affects mainly to the feel of carving. The steel holds it edge better than 106 (C). The handle is very comfortable to hold and the facets make it easier to hold with less gripping force. The included slipsheet is nice and firm and holds in place. So if you like the 106 but want to upgrade to a nicer product this is a good option.

Love the detail on the handle and blade, really beautiful. I really like how the handle feels in the hand, lovely shape. The blade is razor sharp and keeps its edge. Arrived very quickly too!
